Amyanne and her little family will be moving into our home when we leave. So she came last week and we talked about things she wanted me to leave here and things she wanted me to pack. She suggested I pack up all the decor items around the house that mean a lot to me. So today I filled two average-sized boxes with those items and lots of bubble wrap. As I went to label them, I thought about putting "Precious Items" on the box, but then thought that if someone broke into the storage area, those boxes would attract them. So I put "decor items--fragile". But as I was doing that, I thought, "These aren't my precious items anyway. I wish I could box up my precious items and take them to Japan with me." How do you think our two bedroom apartment would handle the 35 of us? I cried just a little. I'm going to really miss my precious items.
